Μην αφήνεις τα αρνητικά συναισθήματα να σε καταβάλλουν
Μοιάζει με πρόκληση να μιλά κανείς για θετική σκέψη την εποχή της οικονομικής κρίσης, της ανεργίας και των ζοφερών προβλέψεων. Κι όμως μέσα σε αυτό το πιεστικό πλαίσιο χρειάζεσαι περισσότερο απ΄ότι ποτέ να μάθεις να εστιάζεις στα θετικά και να απωθείς κάθε τι που σε κάνει να αισθάνεσαι άσχημα.
Αλλωστε όπως τονίζει η ψυχολόγος Πασχαλιά Μυτσκίδου μιλώντας στο περιοδικό Psychologies «Οι έρευνες δείχνουν πως καλλιεργώντας τα θετικά μας στοιχεία και τις αδυναμίες μας αντί να προσπαθούμε να βελτιώσουμε τις αδυναμίες μας ζούμε καλύτερα και μπορούμε ευκολότερα να εμπλακούμε σε δράσεις που δίνουν νόημα στη ζωή μας. Με τον τρόπο αυτό αυξάνονται οι πιθανότητες να πετύχουμε τους στόχους μας ενώ παράλληλα αποκτούμε ισχυρές κοινωνικές σχέσεις με ανθρώπους που μοιράζονται παρόμοια ιδανικά και στόχους με εμάς».
Για θετικά αποτελέσματα, δες τη ζωή με χαμόγελο
Η θετική σκέψη είναι μια έννοια αρκετά αόριστη και παρεξηγημένη. Στην πραγματικότητα η θετική σκέψη είναι η ικανότητά μας να βλέπουμε τη θετική διάσταση των πραγμάτων. Πρόκειται για έναν διαφορετικό τρόπο αντιμετώπισης της ζωής σε μια διάσταση περισσότερο θετική παρά καταστροφολογική.
«Τα θετικά συναισθήματα είναι σύνθετες αντιδράσεις προς κάποιο ερέθισμα που οδηγούν σε δράση ή σκέψη. Κύριο χαρακτηριστικό τους είναι ότι προκαλούν διεύρυνση της προσοχής και της σκέψης μας η οποία οδηγεί σε επινόηση σύνθετων και πρωτότυπων ιδεών … Θετική σκέψη είναι η ικανότητά μας να αποδίδουμε θετικές διαστάσεις στις εμπειρίες μας. Οι σύγχρονες έρευνες συνδέουν τα θετικά συναισθήματα τη θετική σκέψη και τα θετικά αποτελέσματα σε διάφορους τομείς της ζωής μας» εξηγεί ο ψυχολόγος Μιχάλης Γαλανάκης.
4 τρόποι για να διώξεις μακριά τις αρνητικές σκέψεις
Όπως έχουμε ήδη τονίσει σε προηγούμενο άρθρο η ευτυχία είναι εσωτερική υπόθεση. Από εσένα λοιπόν εξαρτάται να την κατακτήσεις.
Πάρε μολύβι και χαρτί: Ενας πρακτικός τρόπος για να το κάνεις είναι να πάρεις μολύβι και χαρτί. Στο τέλος της ημέρας αναλογίσου τι έκανες κατά τη διάρκειά της, πως ξόδεψες το χρόνο σου και σε τι δραστηριότητες επιδόθηκες. Κάνε τη συγκεκριμένη εργασία για τουλάχιστον 2 εβδομάδες. Όταν θα έχεις ολοκληρώσει την καταγραφή δημιούργησε έναν πίνακα με τόσες οριζόντιες στήλες όσες και οι δραστηριότητες σου. Στη συνέχεια βαθμολόγησε με αστεράκια (σε κλίμακα από 1 έως 5) την ευχαρίστηση που αποκόμισες από κάθε δραστηριότητα. Με τον τρόπο αυτό θα δεις ξεκάθαρα τι σε κάνει ευτυχισμένη και τι σου δημιουργεί αρνητικά συναισθήματα. Οπότε με το να προσαρμόσεις κατάλληλα την καθημερινότητα σου θα καταφέρεις να αποκτήσεις μεγαλύτερο έλεγχο στη ζωή σου.
Πες το με ένα φιλί ή με ένα ευχαριστήριο γράμμα: Ποτέ δεν ήσουν αχάριστη. Αναγνωρίζεις τη βοήθεια και τη συμβολή των άλλων. Πόσο συχνά όμως τους το λες; Το σημαντικό δεν είναι μόνο να αναγνωρίσεις τη συμβολή των ανθρώπων αλλά και να δείξεις έμπρακτα την ευγνωμοσύνη σου. Είτε δεν έχεις το χρόνο για να επισκεφτείς τη μητέρα σου, είτε δεν βρίσκεις τα λόγια για να πεις στο συνάδελφο σου πόσο εκτιμάς τη βοήθειά του ήρθε η ώρα να το κάνεις. Δώσε στη μαμά σου ένα γλυκό φιλί ή φτιάξε με τα χεράκια σου το αγαπημένο γλυκό του συναδέλφου που πάντα σε ξελασπώνει.
Κράτα ημερολόγιο ευγνωμοσύνης: Κατέγραψε κάθε πρόσωπο στο οποίο χρωστάς ευγνωμοσύνη και τους λόγους για τους οποίους είναι σημαντικό στη ζωή σου. Κάθε φορά που κάποιος σε πληγώνει, σε εκνευρίζει ή σε απογοητεύει μπορείς να ανατρέχεις στις σελίδες του ώστε να διαπιστώσεις ότι για κάθε άνθρωπο που σε απογοητεύει υπάρχουν τόσοι άλλοι που σε αγαπούν και σε στηρίζουν και θα νιώσεις σίγουρα πολύ πιο καλά.
Η ευτυχία υπάρχει γύρω σου. Μάθε να την βλέπεις: Καθημερινά σε κατακλύζουν αρνητικές σκέψεις που προβάλλουν στην καθημερινότητά σου με την παραμικρή αφορμή ενώ οι θετικές με ένα μαγικό τρόπο μένουν συνέχεια εκτός πλάνου. Μάθε να απολαμβάνεις μικρές στιγμές και να λαμβάνεις χαρά από μικρά καθημερινά πράγματα και εικόνες όπως για παράδειγμα ένα λουλούδι που ξεπροβάλει από τον φράχτη μιας πολυκατοικίας ή ένα ερωτευμένο ζευγαράκι που περπατά στη μέση του δρόμου ή ακόμη και ένα οικογενειακό γιορτινό γεύμα. Η ευτυχία κρύβεται μέσα σε αυτά. Είναι αυτές οι μικρές καθημερινές στιγμές που σε βοηθούν να απωθήσεις τις αρνητικές σκέψεις και να γευτείς την ευτυχία.
